Description:
Builds will be pushed to the host, put in maintenance mode, all Vms will be moved with Vmotion and last hosts will be rebooted .
If major update have to be done, it will be two successive reboots like this:
Host v6.0 : upgrade major to v6.7, reboot, then upgrade minor to the last build v6.7, reboot.
Host v6.5 : upgrade major to v6.7, reboot, then upgrade minor to the last build v6.7, reboot.
Host v6.7 : upgrade minor to the last build 19195723 if needed, reboot.
If hosts are already on 19195723, they will be skipped.
Service impact : If we meet an issue during the reboot of the host , it will be replaced. (20 min)
Service improvement : All hosts have to be upgraded frequently due to the VMware's matrix of compatibility and also due to the CVE.
We will only enterprise customers with VSAN hosts.
